Hello world!

Hoping everybody has made a safe trip back to home, I want to take advantage of this forum to acknowledge the wonderful efforts of our friends in Spain: Wilmar, Emilio, Nacho, Claudia, Ana and Sammy! Gracias corazones, estuvo fabuloso!!

It was my first REES and certainly won’t be the last (God’s willing). I look forward to keep communications with the amazing people I met and, why not, the ones that could not be there. Remember we set as a goal to increase the usage of this network site ;-)

Warm regards from your Mexican friend!

Noemí

Hi, everyone!

As promised, here is a link to the Engineering Education Community Resource wiki that you might have heard me or Adam Carberry of Arizona State University mention at last week's REES meeting:

This web site represents an ongoing effort to catalog and link to the many centers, departments, programs of study, societies, conferences, journals, and other publication venues that are available to the growing engineering education community.

As a wiki, this resource is available to you not just to view but also to edit. We encourage you to create a PBWorks account and add/modify the site if you see anything missing or in need of fixing.

However, we recognize that everyone is busy, so Adam and I are volunteer co-maintainers of the site, and you can also just e-mail us additions, modifications, or other feedback at this address:

Thanks! We hope that you find this resource useful and that you can help us improve it further and share it with your colleagues.

After receiving all the registrations, we have published the final list of papers will be presented in REES 2011. You can consult in the REES website (http://innovacioneducativa.upm.es/rees).

If your paper does not appear in the list, and you have paid before last 15 September, please, contact with us and we try to solve as soon as possible.

Best regards
Please note that there is a workshop on Tuesday September 27, 2011, between 3 pm - 6 pm on Engineering Education Research: Literature and methodologies at WEE/SEFI in Lisbon organised by SEFI WG-EER. For the moment this workshop is missing in the programme.

Profesor Bill Williams send us this information. It could be very interesting for all REES participants:

You may be interested in the Engineering Practice Roundtable in Madrid immediately after REES on Saturday October 8th at the same  venue.

If you wish to know more please contact Bill Williams (billwilliams at netvisao.pt).
